I wish that Admadinejad could truly hear you but you are right in that he sees only what he thinks he is and doesn't see he is truly soul-less. Your father is a remarkable man. He is fortunate to have you as his son and you are fortunate to have him as your father. I hope you will be reunited.

dear Mehdi, I have followed you on twitter. It is beautiful to see you with your lovely father.Bravery is forced upon people and you bear yours with great dignity. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I found a beautiful poem I would like to dedicate to you. No room here, but it is by English poet William Cowper 1731-1800, called Light Shining out of Darkness.

Light Shining out of Darkness by William Cowper God moves in a mysterious way his wonders to perform He plants his footsteps in the sea And rides upon the storm Deep in unfathomable mines of never-failing skill He treasures up his bright designs and works his sovereign will. Ye fearful saints fresh courage take The clouds ye so much dread are big with mercy, and shall break in blessings on your head. Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust him for his grace; Behind a frowning providence, He hides a smiling face. His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour the bud may have a bitter taste But sweet will be the flower. Blind unbelief is sure to err and scan His work in vain; God is his own interpreter, And he will make it plain. God bless you Mehdi

Dear Mehdi. I prayed so much so that this does not happen... And I'm still praying. Your father is a heroe, a light warrior. Never forget that the pen is more powerful than the sword. FREEDOM TO ISA SAHARKHIZ Some good journalist has written for the Spanish people to know here: http://periodismoparaperiodistas.blogspot.com/2009/07/el-gobierno-irani-detiene-isa-saharkhiz.html. If you want, I can translate it for you. Don't surrender, my friend.

He must be very proud of you, Mehdi. In fact as proud as you are of him. Here's hoping that it will not be too long before you can sit and have your photos taken together again.
