aka Knot Grass
To Helping Me IDing it! :)
This is the caterpillar of the Knot grass moth. The adults, like other moths in the genus Acronicta
are not as colourful as their larvae - mottled shades of grey and black with a curved white mark near to the rear edge of the forewing.
The caterpillars are covered in bristly hairs. This one is not poisonous, but I didn’t know it. I should be more careful and not risk my health in touching these buddies. I couldn’t resist! :)) ! I didn’t touch at all, the caterpillar walked on me simply! But even though I should be more responsible and not touch, this time I had luck, next time I can get a huge allergy!
