114. Wren's Nest

A Nest of Troglodytes troglodytes aka Common Wren
I was looking on my backyard at Bay laurel's leaves for hoverflies and other bugs, since they are blooming, which atracts a lot of insects. Although, for my surprise, I saw a bird going out there and comming in a lot of times... so I waited till its next ''go way'' and I found it there was a nest... I took this picture and got away from there, because I was afraid the mother sees me and do not come back again.
I'd like to go back and take more pictures, but I've afraid of making the mother go away, so I probably won't go take more pictures of it x_x

P.S - I didn't touch anything, I just got near, the nest was at my height, so I didn't need too much to take this picture.

Wonderful. Did you know that the male wren builds several nests - sometimes 5 or 6, and then the female chooses her favourite!

I used to have wrens in my garden but not for a while- I think 3 cats puts them off. Great shot

OMG! Super cute surprise!! Straigt to my favs. And you should help the mother to feed the babies, just look for worms and put them in a place where the mother can take them. LOL!
