Eumenes papillarius aka Vespoid Wasp


I just photographed those. I got very impressed and sad when I saw these. The male was killed by a crab spider (sorry it is very difficult to you see it but i made something showing it).
It is already dead, but the female doesn't leave its corpse. never, you can touch it, she won't leave.
This is the real love, that lasts till the end, and doesn't care about the fear and danger!



Me puse muy impresionado y triste cuando vi estos. El macho fue asesinado por una araña cangrejo (lo siento, es muy difícil verlo, pero lo hice algo para demostrar).
Ya está muerto, pero la hembra no va deja lo cadáver nunca, Puedes tocarlo, ella no se irá.
Este es el verdadero amor, que dura hasta el final, y no se preocupa por el miedo y el peligro!

Oh Ricky, what a moving and surprising story...I know there are many animals showing such devotion, but didn't know insects are like that too...It reminds me of the scene with Juliet embracing Romeo for the last time before she dies with him....
