Podarcis muralis aka Common Wall Lizard

I was taking a picture to the 1# , when I saw a little sack on the floor, with water inside (because of the rain). This lizard was trapped on it and couldn't get out of it. After taking these pictures I took it out.

This is a reason to never throw dust or rubbish to the floor or forests, it can cause death to many living being, but the most important of all, it is sad and ugly to see.

It doesn't matter the focus, I could still see the beautiful details of his coat (it looks so handsome against that lovely blue) and this set is about something much more important than perfection in photography, as you already pointed out. I am so glad that this little guy was lucky enough to have you passing by and having the kindness to give him his freedom back. Yes, it is tragic that the planet is getting overloaded with garbage and innocent deffenseless animals (and people) will pay with their life for it. Still, there are good people who do what they can to prevent that to happen - and you are one of them Ricky...I wish there will be everybody like you. When I visited 'passerine's "Epilobium angustifolium" post I've sensed a parallel between her post and yours, due maybe to some association in my mind...the blue, the latin terms,.... the portrait of two forms of life (the fauna and flora of this planet ) "pushed with the back to the wall" in their existence against the fake sky of a chemical blue....the future of this world ?
