Sitona hispidulus aka Clover Weevil

It is impressive, but It's not everyday I find actually a beetle (except ladybugs) cute. this beetle is called generically Weevil, and are pests of many things... but this one does not make any warm.
But I find it cute. look to its eyes looking to you.. isn't it smashable ? i mean, huggable?


(LOL the smashable was just a morning joke...it is really really cute and i usually don't kill my subjects)

I don't like to kill insects, but I do dislike Weevils very much. Rather than squash them I carry them across the road and throw them towards the river - hoping that they will end up in the sea.
