These (except last 2) are all over my backyard. they are one of my favorite spiders. Even though many wolf spiders are poisonous, these are harmless. They are all over finding for preys and for mating.. I can't wait to photograph them with their egg sack on their backs!
they are though good runners and also very shy. It was a pain to let them stopped.. ;)

Wow!! Awesome shots, Ricky! One time I was at my sister's and one got into her house just by the front door. It was so scary and we didn't know what it was....she started smashing it with a boot and suddenly we saw all these teeny bugs crawling around next to the spider.
