stormfish :-)))

aside of the message here, this is one hell of a great picture. i assume these little gadgets have been assembled somewhere in a dirty backyard sweat shop in china by a kid that neither understood nor could make use of the concept of a compass, thus just randomly sticked together plate and cover. why all these end up in your vicinity lined up like this, with some funny side light spots is a mystery i'm glad to not know. ;-)

ASINUS There is an explanation for the strange behavior of the compasses placed in triangle: the magnetism of the low lines turns aside the needles of both top lines. In the aligned compasses, there is no effect, because they all are in the same line of the magnetic field of the Earth.
It looks like a free will, but actually such a thing does not exist, always we are affected by the others.

Probably you was not thinking about this, when you put the title, but now, a sense makes furthermore deeply. I think.

Regards. Enric.
