Salute Week (taken 9/13)

There was a celebration in Oak Grove called Salute Week. And in honor of the soldiers at Fort Campbell they had a big party with stuff for little kids and food and everything was free. So we all went as a family!
|
The first thing we did was ride the train. This is a picture of the train pulling in before we got on.

Of coarse, we rode in the ORANGE car!

I sat on Daddy's lap, whiile Mommy took pictures.

Despite fact that I am not smiling in any of these pictures, I did have fun. I was just tired. The party was from 11-3 and thats normally my nap time.

Okay, so it wasnt that much fun, I cried becuase the sun was in my eyes. But atleast I was brave enough to do it!

And this picture marks the part of the voyage down when daddy lost the towel, he doesnt like like he was having fun either.

Then I met a giant beaver.

I wasnt too sure about him either!

As the goat walked by I grabbed his tail, mommy was greatful that he didnt mind!

I liked the ducks the most, but daddy couldnt get very good pictures because he was in line for the next event already!

And that was the pony rides! Here is me and daddy picking out which horse I want to ride.

This was the horse with the smallest saddle, but mommy wanted me to ride him anyway because she thought my horse was prettiest.

The whole ride I kept one hand on the lady and one on the saddle. Because we were MOVING!

My horses name was midnight.

Me and midnight are buddies now.

But no matter how comfy I was with Midnight, I still didnt let that lady go, lol!

This picture is of me and mommys sun burn from spending a whole hour and a half outside! Mom got it much worse I only burnt my one arm for some reason.....

Those are just too cute! I LOVE the ones with Daddy & Kylie on the slide. Your little outfit is cute, but I really don't remember buying that one! ;-) See you this weekend, Punkin' - with Uncle Ken & Aunt Sandi!! ~Special Hugs & Kisses~

These are so cute. In picture number 5 you and Daddy are making the same face in different directions. I really like the ones of you on the pony. I'm glad you only got a little burn...I hope you don't burn as easily as your Mommy does. Love you
