I think this is the only picture we took in Idaho, we werent there long.
The sign we have all been waiting for!
YAWN - Im so polite I already know to cover my mouth
Again with the contrast of the green land and the snowy mountains
more of those windmill things
They are really HUGE they just look small because they are waaaay above us. We actually saw a semi haul just one of the propellors and it took up more room than there was on the truck bed. We liked them.....
Another bridge we crossed on our journey
the cliffs got more blue the further they were
cool jagged edges
This was the first time we saw snow sort of on our level and not 1000s of feet above us
It wasnt cold in our comfy new car though, as you can see by my lack of footwear.
Still loving the licorice
We thought it was interesting that you could like see a line of where the temp was above freezing and where it wasnt on the side of the hills
Same effect but with the mountains
All the trees here are tall, we havent even seen a redwood yet.....these are just the regular trees (use the semi ahead of us for scale)
winter wonderland
again with the adorable house in the middle of the scenery, wouldnt it be nice, huh?
and thats not even the tallest one we saw.....
The mountains started getting lost in the haze
These are what we called the stilt trees. They would have no live branches on the bottom, then it was like a christmas tree just appeared on top. There are quite a few of these along the cliffs that we can see from the highway by our house. One of the things we will probably never forget about living here.
There was like steam coming out of the ground. I am sure I had something to do with the temperature changes but it made for a cool pic.....
Finally, we are in the Fort Lewis area....this was our first experience, as a family, with traffic....what a change!
Thats the Tacoma Dome
Our city at night

It gets prettier the closer you get to the west coast. Picture number 18 is my favorite (even if it doesn't have you in it). I can't wait until we can come and see you. It looks so beautiful there. Love you.
