Merciless daytime heat, nearly everywhere across the country. In the evening the sprinklers come on, the people come out of their homes, life starts to stir again. Just looking at the sprinklers makes you feel cooler.

Nothing new for it to be humid there :-) More rain this time of year though..love to just look at sprinklers too..

Seeing this photo reminded me of the sprinkler I walked through while on my daily walk today...it was so refreshing...just like this photo looks!

Heavenly coolness..... Such wonderful memories of childhood. I cope with the heat by being in the heat. Biking in it really makes walking and living in it so much easier.... (Except when I fall down a hill)

don't know where you are, but here on the northwest coast we are still waiting for a bit of heat. we have had maybe a total of two weeks of summer this year.
