The creek has a life of it's own, the color and mood changing throughout the day. Many species come to the edge daily to drink of it's life giving water. If you look closely you can even see the tracks of a tiny rodent.

A perfect statement on a creek (or crick as we called it). I learned more along the banks of Pigeon Creek (crick) as a child than I did in college. For us the fascination was not what came to the banks, but rather the variety of fish and wildlife in the water. Ahhh the memories.
