Just got home from taking my son and some friends to New York City. We visited the WTC site, walked around the perimeter, saw the Tribute Museum, and the bronze memorial on the Engine Co. 10 Fire house adjacent to the site. The boys are all 15 & 16 years old so were very young on 9/11/2001. This definitely made it more real. This was my second time to the Tribute center, and it still took my breath away-- as soon as I saw the flyers of the missing that were hung around the city and in New Jersey by families hoping against hope that their loved one was out there somewhere the emotions just came flooding back.
