Solomons Sunset

Caught a sunset on Solomons Island after a rainstorm on Sunday. Loved the silhouettes of the people floating on surfboards & paddleboards and the kayakers out on the river.

These are beautiful Paula. But that heron shot! To be such beautiful birds they sure look frumpy and squat from the front!

Great sunset set - for me #5 is the winner from a composition perspective - I like the closer crop and you couldn't have got a better place for the sun if you had positioned it yourself
