Thats a great picture and am aint that good with photoshop as well but some simple techniques which been really helping me is the burn tool and sponge tool which you will find under ur dodge tool, u can use those 2 tools to play around with the foreground and background of the picture depending on what u want the viewers to focus on... but hey depends on u now, for me its been really helping me a lot, give a try though and let me know :-) gd luck mate! That's a great picture, the way his hand is, he looks like superman or some other superhero ready to take flight. Well, he's a soldier right? So he *is* a superhero. Excellent composition.

It worked just fine! I would have cropped just a bit at the left. Those towers distract a little, but you did a great job!
