lets burn the night

sorry about not posting the last couple of days but been really busy with work as some of you lot know i work in retail for one of the largest retail companies in europe i work for currys who are part of the dixons international stores group so being retail at this time of year = long hours , short lunches and sore feet lol
anyhoo being a sales person i am going to stand up for fellow people in retail jobs around the world at this time of year and here goes with my rant customers think at this time of year that the can treat us with no respect and talk to us like dirt for example coming into store and asking "is the nintendo ds in stock" and the sales person replies "no sir or madam we dont have any stock of that item and we dont think that is coming in stock" customer replies " (1)WHY HAVE THEM ON THEM ON THE SHELF IF YOU DONT HAVE THEM (2)YOUR NOT VERY HELPFUL (3) CAN I SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER (4) DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW MORE THAN YOU" why raise the tone of your voice we aint the buyers it aint our faulty the companies dont supply enough stock it also aint our fault we sell products very well
also why why oh why cant people understand this time of year stores dont have a lot of staff and the customers cant wait to be served and i am talking a couple of minutes also the best thing i have heard a customer say to me is " why is there a cue at the till" and the simply reply is to all customer is ITS CHRISTMAS
