Lucid dreams are dreams in which you know at the time that you are dreaming. That they are different from ordinary dreams is obvious as soon as you have one. The experience is something like waking up in your dreams. It is as though you "come to" and find you are dreaming.
This happens to me a lot.

Really intriguing and dream-like image, Paul! I believe the girl knows she's dreaming and is pausing for a moment to decide what to do next! I have had such dreams, but very rarely. Heard there are ways to increase this type of sleep experience...might be interesting to learn them! Do you find this type of dreaming to be pleasant?
