Saying goodbye

She did have fun that day. She was 86 years old when she died, the same age as her mother when she died. She was also married to my father for 38 years when he died, and my wife and I will be married 38 years this year.

Today we celebrated the passing of my mother from one life to the next. She had a heart attack last Wednesday and a stroke on Friday. She died on Monday, far to long to wait. I will remember her with love and the times she was the subject of my candid photography sessions. This is from last Christmas when I took photos of the people in her assisted living center. She will be missed by many. Say a prayer for her.

I am sorry for your loss. I was also married for 38 years when I lost my husband. That's really a nice portrait of your Mom.
