Lucy and I went on a recce today to find a suitable vantage point for photographing Southampton's container terminal. As we arrived we were greeted by this vast ship being guided in to dock by two tugboats.
|
With the ship secure in its berth, the large crane arms are lowered down to the horizontal ready to begin unloading.
|
Lucy is more interested in returning pebbles and seaweed back to the sea.
|
A quiet promenade in Marchwood - it appears to lead to the West Quay shopping centre across the river.

The first two are fab - it's got me itching to drive to Southampton to take some myself!
