Another beautiful day. To make up for the short times we've spent in the park the last couple of days Bella & I loitered for a while today.
More close-ups of flowers I'm afraid. I'm still nervous about pointing my camera at people, reckon I just need to practise.
It occured to me today that from a distance, moving in slow motion, arms outstretched, I must look as if I'm doing
T'ai Chi Ch'üan...perhaps I am.
Though I can see I'm improving, I still put the quality of the photos down to beginner's luck and a camera that does most of the work for me.

As a reward for doing my domestic chores [which I hate doing] I thought I'd practise snapping people, i.e., the kids playing on the street. I point the camera at them, look down to fiddle with the settings, look up and they've all disappeared, only to appear seconds later with their sweatshirt hoods up and holding hands across faces. It took almost ten minutes of persuasion and the showing of example pictures to reassure them that I wasn't collecting evidence of wrongdoing. Gameplay [cricket] restarted, I snap away for a few moments and then an elderly neighbour appears and [to my horror] in a loud voice tells me she's glad someone's getting photos of the kids misbehaving. More reassurances needed. Later I handed out prints to the kids as an apology for the panic caused.
