Yesterdays photos were taken between 5 & 6 pm and the difference in the quality of the light was a revelation. This evening's visit proved less successful. I forgot - never trust English weather. The clouds appeared, the wind picked up and the temperature plummeted. The plants wouldn't keep still and I froze. I returned with almost nothing usable, the pictures posted were mainly taken during our usual midday stroll when the sky was clear and the sun shining, nevermind, I shall definitely try again tomorrow...weather permitting.
