A blue sky this morning infered a fine day but a strong arctic wind has blown a blanket of grey clouds over us. I became so cold during our stroll I cut it short, the wind also made photographing the flowers frustrating.
Our short walk wasn't a complete loss I did manage to get of a shot [#8] of my favourite flower at the moment [the Ipheion] before it had fully opened.
The pink flowers in #11, #12 & #13 belong to the wonderfully named Elephant-eared saxifrage or Bergenia.
The orange-yellow flowers in the last photo belong to a Barberry [Berberis] shrub.
