Overcast and cold today, and it rained last night.
I haven't identified the flowers yet.
The magpie and crow were having a noisy argument when I took the photo.
The fish at the end is an old Thames embankment lampost that somehow found itself deposited here.

Sorry to disappoint Carly, I'm not a professional. I'm still a rank beginner using this 365 project to teach myself.
I've been using an automatic compact [a Ricoh Caplio R4] to take the photos. It doesn't allow me that much control so the credit must go to either the camera or the light available here in Yorkshire. It is capable of taking good close-ups.
I take a lot [a lot!] of pictures [the beauty of digital] and you don't see the huge amount of fuzzy rejects that I end up with. I started taking photos last year on holiday using a media-player with a built in camera and had a lot of fun but out of the 600 plus photos only around 30 were even vaguely usable, I became determined to do better.
I've now bought myself a new camera [a Canon G7] to celebrate my 50th birthday next week. I haven't been using it yet, I'm still familiarising myself with the controls.
