More practise today using a combination of +4 and +2 close-up lenses. The very narrow depth of field and greater magnification of +6 makes focusing a slow process, any camera shake is also magnified and by the time I've got it right the bug's off to the next flower. It's frustrating, but I'm getting the hang of using a +4 so I reckon +6 will just take more practise. I'm encouraged by the work of Prof. Plonsky

Carley OMG.... if you don't have the hang of it yet, I can't imagine what it will look like when you do have it! I've never seen such close and beautiful bug shots!
