365 - Park Life [262]

A frosty morning. I take the Nikon 990 with me, return home with frozen fingers and some nice shots of crystalised leaves, try to insert the CF card into my reader...oh no!, it doesn't fit?. I could get another reader but I've had enough. On the way to returning the camera to Kevin who loaned it to me I spot a Fuji A330 in a secondhand shop, an xD card that I ordered for the now defunct Fuji A210 arrived this morning, at least I'll be able to make use of it I tell myself, the shop assistant inserts new batteries to see if it works, it turns on, it's lens extends, it then dies, more batteries, no luck. I don't believe this. I'm jinxed. I quickly return Kevin's camera before something else happens. I'm now again reduced to using my Mcatch, at least it still works. The good news is my 120 film arrived, so I can try out the Agfa Synchro this weekend, what can go wrong with a box camera?.
