Waited for this hawk to take off but then noticed Bella heading for the car-park and by the time I'd stopped her the bird was gone.

Well worth the wait. Once again, I started counting my favorites and just gave up; too many. It would be easier to list the unlikes instead of the likes :)

Very glad that it finally worked. I must admit that I checked many times in vain yesterday night for your new post. You seem to have had great fun with your zoom yesterday. The movement is so present in many shots. The gorgeous colors along with the tiny DOF make superb shots here like #4, 12 &16. Wonderful birds snaps also. My favs are #3 & 11. #18 is great too. It was worth the wait. Good luck with your modem today!
