365 - Park Life [366]

I thought I was over the worst of the head cold I have but apparently not. Woke up this morning with a swollen face and nose bleeds, so what do I do, I take a couple of painkillers, shove a tissue up my nose, pick up my camera and go out to take photos. I guess that makes me a Photographer, and possibly insane.

Officially today is the end of my 365 Project but as far as I'm concerned we're now into injury time [my camera broke in November and I was unable to take photos for a couple of weeks], besides, Spring is here, Summer is coming & I'm still having fun. Those seem like good enough reasons to continue with Park Life for a while longer, only now I'm allowed to take the occasional break.

Has it been worth the effort?. I now have a grand collection of images that record the natural life of a Municipal Park through a year. I've gained confidence, improved my photographic skills and made some fine new friends. I would have to say Yes.

PS. The swelling went down and the nose bleeds did eventually cease, but I'm still not feeling well so a celebratory drink will have to wait till tomorrow.

My apologies I've just been checking the titles of my entries and I'd numbered two past entries the same so yesterday was actually the last day of the Project and not today - oops!. Never mind, you got an extra day and it's all done now anyway. Sorry for any confusion, just blame old age.
