Hi RementFan, thanks for visiting my photoblog and your enquiry. It is a good idea to display food models on the wall of your home. If you look at this page as a reference, the Korean chapchae (glass vermicelli, seaweed, etc) can cost up to about Sing$180. More complex dishes like Spicy Chicken Soup (8th pic from the top) can cost up to at least Sing$250. The prices mentioned do not include import/delivery charges. The price also depends on whether the food model is ready-made (due to mass production for various restaurants) or customised. Customisation prices can be at least 30% more than the prices mentioned. Hi JadeKiwi, I agree that such plastic food models are very expensive. Each model is hand-made instead of machine-made. No two models look identical. Food miniatures like Re-ment are machine-made for mass production, thus the cheaper pricings. phil5808 · 2008-05-28: 21:52
