Number 1 is just amazing. The branches, and the color of the water. I can seldom explain it, but it is really impressive.

Love your last two lines... Great series - love the birch trees in #7 and the way it is composed and #1 has a certain something that, like BuzzBomb, I cannot identify or pin down but it deeply appeals to me.
