Photo #1 Two bottles purchased for one dollar at the Brimfield Fair. One held perfume. Colgate, the company, created this scent in 1901. I've not been able to find out anything about the bottle with the raised letters. Photo #2 A small silver salt spoon and an old handmade nail—both found in a yard sale. Photo 4 & 5 rocks and fetish picked up while traveling Photo #6 The brown rock is from Cretaceous sedimentary strata northeast of Pueblo, Colorado. Ages, according to the friend who hand-polished this rock and supplied the info, is about seventy millions years. the fetish was purchased in New Mexico. Photo #8 Found when walking on Coast Guard Beach in Cape Cod Photo #9 An artist crafted this small sculpture Photo #10 This was my father's watch which was his father's watch. It still keeps time.

number eight looks like an egg purse. a small thing from which something ultimately larger emerged. maybe we all emerge from the small things that form and inform us.
