Trees, those barometers of seasons in New England, stand tall.

photopoet I changed the order of photos before I saw your comment. I bet it was photo one or two for your walk.

aggiechristine Love your caption - it paints a wonderful picture. Stunning set, and the colors, light and composition of the third shot are gorgeous.

jjimson Great set! That first one should be blown up and adorned on a nice tall and narrow wall and am sure that people will feel like stepping onto that wonderful path.

Venkat Life is like a tree and tree in itself is life...

{ so goes a folklore...}

GreenTea Beautiful pictures capturing maybe all the "moods" of trees...From shining vivid green till cold black...Congrats!

iustinium oh wow. this is a good set, my favourites are #3 and #5.

As promised, this is what is going through my mind. If it offends, no offense intended:
#1 My eyes immediately focused on the trees on the right, and the winding path, which I believe is the "key" about this picture, could emphasise with a little cropping.
#2 This picture speaks "colour" to me, although top part seems slightly overexposed and lost detail.
#3 I really like this, the lighting, colour, the ripples of the water, the slight hint of the building behind from the reflection. It is all so interesting.
#4 The red in the foreground and the reflection seems to be competing for attention.
#5 This is superb. Colour control is great, it feels cold, mysterious. This image says "continuity and chaos" to me. I can "feel" a strong flow. The border between "real world" and "reflection world" is merged in a mass of organised but chaotic spiral.
#6 I think the background is competing a little with birdie over there.

PollyWog As I walk by myself in the woods, I have such a spiritual feeling - a feeling that transcends all time - a feeling being one within, and being all with the Creator of such beauty - that's what your photos do to me!
