I think that all our urban areas have a number of homeless folks. Many, I think, are there because they are mentally ill and are unable to fend for themselves in the community. It is a sad picture.

What a contrasts in social structure!!! In our part of world homeless are those who are very poor and destitute... fallout of growing population

Such an interesting story. Expressive. Very thoughful post as per usual. Plus I get to learn all these quotations. I'm the person who has to make up my own because I can never remember the details of famous quotes. But with the right photo in mind.... maybe.

I like the pictures of the field. There is great contrast between the raw ground that has not been planted yet and the perfectly green field in the background. Very nice.

the thought of there being little potential for harvest in the second shot accentuates the promise in the first and third. i would not have picked up on the last shot being of a homeless man without the context of the set.
