Maj jong... !!! I spent hours and nights playing on computer ! Shangai was it called. Now there are plenty new maj jong games but I miss my Shangai one ! First shot is neat ! great set

BTW, I'm pretty sure that the Maj jong that you play on the computer is not the same game as the one potopoet is talking about. The computer game uses the images of real Maj jong tiles, and involves matching pairs of tiles to make them disappear. Real Maj jong is a much more complicated game, like the difference between checkers and chess.

JuliaGotz is correct. The maj jong game my mother and her friends played was quite complicated. I never learned how to play, but I loved the tiles.
