Some keep the Sabbath going to Church,/
I keep it staying at Home — With a bobolink for a Chorister,/ And an Orchard, for a Dome. —Emily Dickinson |

The least movement is of importance to all nature. The entire ocean is affected by a pebble.—Blaise Pascal |
The sun, with all those plants revolving around it and dependent upon it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.—Galileo

There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.—Linda hogan

I love the Emily Dickinson quote. I have a genealogy scrapbook and put that quote next to a picture of my ggg grandmother. Her obit mentioned that she lived like that...no set religion, followed the golden rule, loved gardening and her fellowman. I found that quote and it seemed to sum her up. And another funny thing is that I have used that pooh quote with pics of my granddaughters hugging! As usual...nice set.
