A Sunday Excursion—

2008.02.17
Parked in front of a rusted pole—

stopped to listen to street musicians in Harvard Square—

listened to his solo—

looked at the subway station—

passed a shoe repair shop—

admired an old building's curved lines—

admired diversity—

stopped in a New Age store and found some intriguing stones—

arrived at Central Square—

following someone walking down the alley—

enjoyed the graffiti—

knew we were approaching the MIT museum—

checked out Kismet the Robot at the MIT Museum—

remained mesmerized—

tried to follow the coils—

checked out the electrical wires —

enjoyed the variety of attire on the way back to Harvard Square—

wondered what she was carrying—

read the paper when I arrived home—'Spek' wasn't really talented—

We decided to go down to Cambridge, park the car, and walk two plus miles to the MIT Museum. It's one of those short walks that takes you through Harvard Square and students and trendy places to stop and eat—and eventually to Central Square with its thrift stores and ethnic dining places—and eventually to the MIT area.
