I love Thoreau and the way you've married his words with this picture. It's that idea that what once was is back; that a landscape, though changing, beneath it all remains the same, but changes in season to adapt, to give, to prosper. Great composition - I like the way the lines meet up on that slight angle.

Oh, it's very nice enlarged. Looks like strip farming - winter rye being the green? I'll bet it looks like a quilt with an aerial shot. I always like to look at the patchwork of fields from the sky.
