the wise grows it under his feet.

Hence no force, however great, can stretch a cord, however fine, into a horizontal line which is accurately straight: there will always be a bending downwards.

Masterful set. The composition of #4 is just perfect - great colour and use of light as well.

Zedsdead #3 has me a tad perplexed, and it's certainly a great set of photos, but the Gary Snyder ( Japhy Ryder0 quote impressed me most. So few seem to have heard of him these days. ?:o)

jendayee I also love 4 and 5 ! and I really agree with the idea of Tolstoï : "...throw out from oneself ...an adhesive web of love, and to catch in it all that comes” ! Yes !
jendayee · 2008-03-16: 22:46
Carley And I agree with both Jen and Tolstoi! Beautiful set! I especially like the first one. (And I had to laugh.....I know you didn't mean it like this, but to read about growing something under your feet, then scrolling down to that very spiny, prickly cactus..... was very funny!)

oldbabe The last one didn't really look like a plant until I enlarged it. Then I could see it was bamboo. I keep getting drawn to 4, don't know why.
