Someone climbed up to place their rocks—
I once tried standing up on my toes to see far out in the distance, but I found that I could see much farther by climbing to a high place. —Xun Zi |
Low tide and we walked and walked over these rock slabs—
We live in a fast-paced society. Walking slows us down. —Robert Sweetgall |
The water heightens colours—
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.” —Georgia O'Keeffe |
The figure on the right appears to be talking—
“Drawing is putting a line around an idea.” Henri Matisse |
An eye—
“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.” —Antoine de Saint-Exupery |
The sound of the surf mesmerizes me—
“You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” Jon Kabat-Zinn |
An uncertain green,
Piano-polished, held the tranced machine Of ocean, as a prelude holds and holds. —Wallace Stevens |

Undeniable splendor! I have never been to Maine and your beautiful set makes me want to go. The blue water and the color and formation of the rocks in #1 ,4, 13 are outstanding.

Beautiful! The differenty types of rocks are very cool. I also enjoyed the way the humans put their stamp on it with the rock formations.

I love the rock-balancing guy - so determined, alone, having fun amidst such beauty. I wonder how often he goes there. There must be such satisfaction when he accomplishes his task.

#1 is breath-taking! The colours of the rocks are just perfect. And I couldn't believe my eyes when I enlarged #7; how could they not fall? Great set.
