Everything Isn't What it Seems —or altered Realities

A short story—

On April 19, 1775, British soldiers and American militia, "minute men" met in a series of skirmishes along a 22 mile stretch of road ( dubbed Battle Road) that ran from Boston to Concord.

Battle Road is part of Minuteman National Historic Park and it's where I decided to walk—searching for more autumn photos.

At various house sites along the way there are militia men dressed in the outfits of the era.

I stopped to take the photo of this particular gentleman who displayed some rather odd mannerisms. He'd hold a pose for a few minutes and then shift to another pose. Since I appeared to be an audience of one —it seemed rather bizarre behavior.

After staring and taking several photos I heard someone laughing. The photographer in the photo had been busy taking photos—from his elevated perch.

"Is he posing for you?"
"Yes."
"Is this for some publication?"
"Yes."

I walked on and then turned away and took a photo of the photographer taking a photo of the militiaman.
