In the quiet

2009.01.11

I took these last fall and a friend asked me why I never posted them, honestly I forgot! I pass by this very old cemetary every day on the way to work. I thought on this very foggy morning the tombstones looked like they were marching out of the fog, I should should have shot from ground level across the fields but considering I was on my way to work the idea of getting wet and muddy didn't seem like good idea. As I drove around one hill I came upon the deer, I'm not sure who was more suprised!

catdad Neat shots, the first 3 would do well at Halloween, they have "The Look", guess the deer was a bonus? cd

focussed Cemetery's are such a fabulous place to shoot under normal conditions..but looks like you were exactly in the right place at the right time for this set! Fog AND deer!!! I like the pinky tone in the first two and #4 is a great catch!

cassiesturtz Wow! Right place, right time! They're very calm & peaceful. I guess that's what a cemetery should be...
