This white heron had monofilament fishing line wrapped around both legs and a hook stuck in its leg. Executive director, Kelly McKinnon and education director, Courtney Fletcher trapped the bird and removed the hook and line. They administered medicine and continued to help it recoup by feeding it until it could successfully catch its own food.
