i think it's quite interesting. my friend recently parked in a multi storey in sheffield, he went back to collect it the next day and it was closed al day (sunday). there were a couple of other people there wondering what to do about their confiscated cars. they ended up ringing the company who got one of their employees out of bed on their day off to come and open up for them. why would a car park in a city be closed on a sunday? it was next to a big hotel too.

I think it is quite interesting how these days everyone is reduced to a photo ID... even if it's a bad photo on the ID. It's sad that we can't just be any more.

that is modern life Terry. 'I am not a number I'm a free man' wonder when they will get the big bubble to chase us when we are not conforming

Well, it's a pain, because whenever I miss the postman and have to go pick up a parcel I don't have any photo ID. I don't drive, I don;t have a passport and now I'm retired I don't have a BT works pass either. The picture on my London Transport Photocard was taken in 1986 and if you can tell it was me you need your eyes checking. Don't get me started on the National ID cards either - I won't pay for a card to tell me who I am, they want me to have one, they pay for it (with my taxes anyway).
