imagine yourself a little treesoul swishing, floating whisping back to the trees through this grass with the lovely coolness of the snowy ground refreshing you

Well I've adhered to tradition and removed all decorations so the treegods had a warm break at my home but leave now before cabinfever sets in, otherwise apparently I have to keep them for the year and if they are not out Jan 5th they'll be tricksy: From a time before Christmas was called that more Yule I guess, amazing how long traditions are kept going.
Story is back in the days of yore at the winter feast time we decorated our homes with Holly and Ivy, Mistletoe and outdoor greenery when we believed in treegods and such like, and guess there's people who still do. It was good to do it but you had to let them go or you'd have a bad year, now here's where I'm scritching my head because the date we use is in reference to a Christian date, but perhaps someone knows if it coincides with another significant date in the Celtic calendar bit incomplete I'm afraid may have to go and research a bit.........
