view from the top of Pagoda....this is only one side of it..front view is the sea, if the sky is clear, it will be a beautiful view of sunset. If we turn right, we will see the whole Sorong town, on the left there is a hilly areas called Bukit Baru or Baru Hill, on the back of the Pagoda we will also see the Baru Hill

This week is my last visit to Sorong in 2011. After 6 months back and forth, this is the first time for me to visit Pagoda Sapta Ratna, the only Buddhist temple in West Papua that I saw so far. My first visit on 13 December, all locked up couldn't get in but today is my lucky day, I could climb the 7 storeys Pagoda to the top floor. The view is amazing and I promise my self to be back here again sometime when the sky is clearer than today

Having lived in Japan for 3 years, I've come to appreciate the tranquil beauty of Pagodas! Your photos exemplify such beauty!
