Flowers, always nice. If your camera lets you, open the aperture right up (as low as you can get it), with a fast shutter speed, and that will blur the background nicely. Would help #1 quite a bit, I think.

Those bleeding hearts are actually everywhere, despite people saying that they're rare. There are white ones as well as pink. These are taken from the pond, a subject of one of my recent posts. Click here to see it. Thank you for your comments!
