Happy New Year! About my first shot...

This is what I owe it to. This was my first picture (taken with my compact Fujifilm Q1), the one that started it all, my obsession and love for photography. Certainly, I've grown to shoot more complex shots in terms of shadowing, composition, etc. but what really made me save this shot was the perspective. Just the way I saw the subject. I'm wishing everyone a Happy New Year for 2008, and I hope I can look forward to not only sharpen my photographic skills, but to keep on learning new things every day and to explore the fantastic world around me.
