Very interesting plan..! You will enjoy your visit in Nepal..! I would like to request you to go to Pokhara [2 days is more than enough] while in Nepal.
thanks for the suggestion! we'll definetly keep Pokhara in mind when we visit Nepal next week! We are hoping to fly into Kathmandu near the east Indian border, because we are worried about the road conditon for the bus ride to Kathmandu, since we had heard the monsoon had washed out some roads.

Very interesting travel report..! I love to travel but have not been to Singapore and Malaysia yet..! May be next time I should transit for couple of days while flying from San Francisco to Kathmandu on Singapore Airlines and Silk Air.
Malaysia has got lots of interesting places to visit.
