action shot - just for Leah, who says they always run away from her - well this one decided to run away from me!

Decided to stop when it came across a fellow (no, not fallow) deer who appeared to have lost its head..or was trying to stand on it.. or just felt like sticking its rear end in the air..??

When it got tired of being an acrobat it was clear it was quite a different colour from its friend. Some of the deer appear to be losing their coats altogether at the moment - guess it is a spring thing.

Well, I guess they are both 'white tailed' deer - but their coats are very different...
