looking right along the beach

kinda obvious if I write 'looking out to sea' - towards Washington state, USA, and the Olympic Mountains

this one went odd, but I rather like the fact that only the rocks are in focus - shall I pretend that was intentional? See that funny face in the rock??

Oh come on - no dogs for 3 whole blogs, and this one isn't even one of mine - this brave little guy was pouncing into the waves and having a great time - just hope his owners don't mind that wet dog smell in their car!

shot from the path leading up from the beach…its a hard life living on Vancouver Island, but someone has to do it!!! I think it is almost unbearably beautiful and I wish I were a better photographer so I could do some of the landscapes/seascapes around here more justice.
