Adding 81/4 on both sides
or,4^2 - 9*4 + 81/4 = 5^2 - 9*5 + 81/4
or,4^2 -2*4*9/2+(9/2)^2 = 5^2 -2*5*9/2+(9/2)^2
or,(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2 [since (a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2)]
square rooting both sides, we get
(4 - 9/2) = (5 - 9/2)
or,4 = 5
i.e 2x2=5, proved
